March 30

Hi little one,
For the first time in forever, almost all of the weekend to-do list got done! That makes me a pretty happy mommy. We got a few loads of laundry washed, I got the wreath done and hung on the door, the bathroom toilet got fixed (thank GOD!), and we finished registry stuff. It's been a pretty good few days!

Cravings: I think I drove your daddy crazy yesterday. When dinner time came around, I couldn't shake my cravings for more mozzarella sticks and crab Rangoon. Isn't that weird? So I went out and got both. And ate almost all of them. And they were so good! Today hasn't been too weird, with the exception of my want for jelly beans.

Free custard: So every Sunday at 10am we get texts from Culvers for their free Sunday item. Today it was a peanut butter custard waffle cone, so we couldn't pass that up! Here's a picture of your daddy enjoying his, mostly because we didn't have to pay for it.

Pets: We spent a lot of quality time with the pets this weekend, too. Here's your daddy with sweet Disco. She just loves being brushed!

And here's your daddy with fat Meagram. I have no idea how he got her to crawl into that paper bag, but let me tell you, she's so big that the bottom fell out of the bag about five seconds after I took the picture!

Daddy is taking an online exam for his night class, and I'm going to start making dinner. I can't wait to see you on Tuesday!
Love,
Mommy

March 29

Hi little one,
It's supposed to be a beautiful day! I hope your daddy and I can get a bunch of stuff done, even though it's noon and the only thing I've managed to do today is make and eat three chocolate chip pancakes...

Old Chicago: Last night I went out to dinner with Amelia. We went to Old Chicago and I had mozzarella sticks (delicious) and spaghetti pie (also delicious). There is no earthly possible way I would have ever been able to eat that much before I got pregnant, but it just tasted so good and I guess I was really hungry because I didn't eat enough at lunch. Oh well. It was amazing, and I don't regret a bite of it!

To do: This weekend, there are a lot of small things I would like to get done. Laundry tops the list, buy a wreath for the front door so I can decorate it for spring/Easter, finish registry stuff, and have your daddy fix the toilet in our bathroom. Did I mention that it broke the other day? It's SO hard getting up five times a night to pee, and having to walk down the hallway. It's an unbearable distance when my bladder feels like it's going to explode, and by the time I make it back to bed, I'm almost fully awake :( that repair definitely needs to get done as soon as possible!

Belly: I'm starting to pop a little more! I noticed this morning after I got up and looked in the mirror. My abdomen is getting fuller and rounder, and pretty soon it'll be really obvious that you're in there! I can't wait until the belly is nice and big...just another reassurance that you're in there and healthy and growing!

Well, it's time to stop blogging and actually get stuff done!
I love you so much!!

March 27

Hi little one,
This weather is driving me insane! It was cold, cold, cold the past few days, and then in the mid 60s today, but now it's rainy and we were under a tornado watch for a while! I wish it'd just make up its mind and be spring. And I'm really hoping for nice weather next Friday at Opening Day...

Food: Food has been my life lately, and I've had the strangest cravings only to be sorely disappointed. Like last night...on the drive home yesterday, I was craving crunchy onion rings in the worst way. Then your daddy went to get them for me, and I couldn't eat them!! They were soooo salty! I don't know if my taste buds are just off, or if I'm just going a little nuts. But I'll also get SUPER hungry, then try to eat, and be full after a few bites! It's so weird.

Appointment: We have our genetic screening appointment next Tuesday at 9am. There isn't any reason for alarm, but since your mama is over 30, the doctor recommended that we get it done just in case. We are just looking at it more like another chance to see you :)

Daddy: Daddy is very mad right now! Rusty just came in muddy and tracked it all over the carpet. I will have to cut this entry short so I can go help him clean up. I tried nicely reminding him that it did rain, and it is muddy, and they are dogs...but he still gets a little worked up. I have a feeling when you get big enough, that you'll be on doggy paw duty!

I love you, tiny baby!

March 24

Hi little one,
Good news! The doctor said that you're doing great! Your heartbeat is in the 170s and she said that the chance of losing you has dropped to only 1%. We didn't get to see you today, but that's totally fine since we get to see you next Tuesday at our genetic panel sonogram. I'll be taking the day off work and daddy is taking a half day. (I have to go get a new Kansas license and run some other errands, and since mommy works sooooo far away, it doesn't make sense to even go in. Which is also totally fine!) We also found out that we get to know if you're a little boy or a little girl in only 8 weeks! May 19th is the big date, unless we can do a Harmony test or Maternity21 panel next week; if our insurance covers either test, it may be a little sooner. I'm so excited!!! I always said I wanted a little girl, but I can honestly tell you that as long as you're healthy, we'll be happy.

Daddy is mad at Dolce again for getting muddy, so it's been a bit of a trying evening. And I still need to eat. Some Doritos and water probably doesn't make for a very good dinner for either of us :(

I love you, tiny baby, and will update you soon!

March 23

Hi little one,
Let's see...I was partially correct about this being a busy weekend. The dogs have been busy chasing Meagram all around the house. More than usual...not sure what's up with that. And your daddy has been busy watching Game of Thrones and napping on the couch. I've been busy napping upstairs and working on wedding stuff. Not exactly the weekend I had planned, but then again, it never works out that way.

Wedding: We got the invited in the mail last Thursday, and I was bound to have them mailed by tomorrow. That won't happen. I'm still trying to figure out how to print addresses on the envelopes. It's been more of a pain than I thought. Then I ordered some return address labels from Staples, and they won't be in until today or Monday. So that pushes everything back a little. And this baby brain has me going nuts. I did a test run on an envelope and spelled your Great grandparents' last name wrong :(

Hormones: Yesterday I was crabby! Daddy could do nothing right, and I wanted to throw the computer and printer out of the window when I couldn't address labels. I was out of breath all day, and just generally mad. By the time dinner rolled around, I was so hungry that I couldn't even think. I'm also pretty sure that I've never eaten a Chinese dinner so fast before. And I while enjoyed the food, I got mad because I kept thinking the whole time that what I really wanted was sushi, not moo shu chicken and crab rangoon. I was more than happy to go to bed and try to wake up in a better mood today.

That's all for now. I have to buckle down and grade some papers once this shortness of breath goes away. It's not easy being pregnant, I'll tell you that- but you're worth it. I will post pictures of our appointment tomorrow. I think your great grandma is going to come with us since your daddy can't make it. She's so excited!!!

Love you, tiny baby!

March 21

Hi little one,
I've been a busy little bee these past few days! Here are the three Cs...

Class: Work has kept me super busy (I started morning gym duty (grrrrrr) so I've had to leave by 6-6:10am since Wednesday). I also have to have grades done by Sunday, so it's been crunch time trying to grade all of the research papers. No fun!!  I did go to Michael's in order to get some felt for the bottom of the student desks (it keeps them quiet on the tile floors) and I ended up in the scrapbook aisle, go figure. I found these ADORABLE stickers on clearance, so I figured what the heck. Might as well start your first scrapbook now! Don't you just love them?? I can't wait to have some down time this summer so I can be crafty!

Coworkers: Well, the cat is out of the bag, so to speak. At least in the 8th grade house. Jill asked me today after our team meeting if I'm pregnant. I wanted to keep you a secret from everyone whom I haven't yet told for a few more weeks until we are officially out of the clear, but it just didn't happen. And that's okay--at this point I'm just over the moon with your news that I don't care if everyone knows! I did get to hear some horror stories about painful deliveries, etc. but I'm honestly not even scared about that part yet. Whatever it takes to see you in October!

Clothes: I got a funny email from your Aunt Sally telling me to just go buy some maternity pants already. I think I'll take her advice and go shopping this weekend. There's just no way I'll be able to pull off regular clothes for that much longer, and something tells me that my job won't appreciate it too much if I continue trying to make yoga pants look professional :(

I go in again on Monday for my second official doctor's visit (they don't count those freak outs I had as official...whatever...). I'm so excited! I don't think your daddy can make it because he has his first big presentation at work, but I know he wishes he could come. I'm sure I'll get more pictures of you, and get to see you moving around in there. Can you tell I'm really anxious to see you again?! I came home today and used the fetal doppler so I could hear you, and it sounds like you're doing just fine! The doppler measured your little heartbeat at 171 bpm, which is right where you should be. I love listening to that sound.

We have a busy weekend planned. We are going to put up the chair rail in your nursery, try to get rid of some junk we collected in the basement, and then your daddy is going to finish painting the door to the laundry room. All while March madness basketball is on the television! We'll see how much is actually accomplished... :) keep your tiny fingers crossed that K-State beats Kentucky!

I love you, little October pumpkin,
Mommy

March 19

Hi little one,
Happy 10 weeks!!! I can honestly tell you that I  so happy we've made it this far, and that you're almost out of your first trimester! I've been counting down the days until now, and I can't believe we only have two more weeks until we are officially a third of the way closer to meeting you! Here's what's been going on lately...

Pets: your pets haven been driving me a little bonkers lately. Disco has been very sweet, like always, and she loves resting with us and kneading my belly --she knows you're in there! Dolce and Rusty have cabin fever, I think. Since the weather has been warming up lately, they've been wanting to play and run around and rough house allllllll the time. I

haven't so much enjoyed that. And this is Meagram. Meegs. I was walking downstairs when I looked into the living room and saw this. I'm not entirely sure what she was doing, but she definitely looks guilty of something!! And boy, is she fat.

Work: it's becoming harder to not tell people about you, and to keep you hidden! Let's just say that mommy's pants and shirts are a little...snug. I feel like a few people have already guessed, based on out darn out of breath I am by the time I walk from one end of the building to the other, and from my ill-fitting clothes, but I'm still trying to wait until the 12-week mark to make an official announcement. It's going to be so exciting!! I think your daddy has already worked out some preliminary stuff for paternity leave, but I'm not 100% certain. Let's hope he gets a lot of time off!

Pregnancy brain: remember when I blanked out making the cakes and messed up all of the ingredients? Or when I accidentally ordered anchovies on my pizza, but was certain that I double checked the order? Those aren't even the dumbest things I've done. I realized yesterday that I lost my license! It's like it just vanished into thin air. I don't even remember the last time I used it, so it's really puzzling how I could have misplaced it since it always sits in my wallet. I'll have to go get a new one tomorrow, but holy moly. What a pain!

Food: I've heard if you crave sweets, you're having a girl, and if you crave salty foods, you're having a boy. But I have no idea what it means if I'm craving breakfast foods?! Frozen waffles, Pop Tarts, Toaster Struedels, pancakes, and cereal are like, the most delicious things I've ever eaten in my life. And lately bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches have sounded out of this world too. I may ask the doctor when we go in on Monday what she thinks. And I actually went crazy and hid the Cocoa Pebbles from your daddy because I was scared he would eat them! Here's a picture clue as to where they're being stored (in a safe place he never goes!!)

I love you, tiny baby G!

March 17

Hi little one,
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'd be lying if I told you that we "celebrate" today, or that I even remembered what today was until I saw everyone in Wal-Mart wearing shades of green, but nontheless--happy shamrock day!

Energy: Today has been weird. I was super tired in the morning, and I'm super tired again now. (It may have something to do with non-stop errands and cleaning that I did for about four hours straight earlier today.) I'm beat.

Cleaning: The upstairs floor finally got vacuumed today. It literally took me almost an hour, and I had to empty the reservoir about seven times before I was done because it was SO clogged with pet hair, but I do feel better. Not to the point where I'd let you crawl around on the floor if you were here, but it's certainly cleaner than it was yesterday. And at this point, I'll take what I can get, when I can get it :)

House: After I was done cleaning the cattery (Baxter is still SCARED of the vacuum. And Dolce.) I started to panic about all of the things we have left to do before you get here. Redoing the basement bathroom so the cats can go down there and we can start your nursery, getting new carpet in there, painting it, buying a crib and other furniture...it was a little overwhelming! I know realistically that we have plenty of time to do everything and that most moms don't start freaking out about this until the second or third trimester, but wow. So much to do to get ready for you!

That's all for today. I'm going to eat a small bowl of Cocoa Pebbles and then go to bed.

I love you, little baby!

March 16

Hi little one,
Isn't it weird how the weather can change your mood so dramatically from one day to the next? Yesterday was gorgeous...70s outside, and your daddy and I had a great day. Today, there is snow on the ground and your daddy and I can't seem to do anything but either nap or fight. :(

Wedding: we registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Kohl's yesterday. Your daddy got to run around and scan things like a little kid --he loved it! By the time we got through half of BBB, though, I was a little crabby because it was 4:15 and I hadn't eaten lunch. At that point, we decided to stop for the day and go back later :) I'll admit, it was a little weird making a master wish list of things we want. I hate asking for things from people, so it was hard for me to agree to ask for a lot of things. I hope you're not like that, and that you can ask for whatever you want without feeling guilty.

Friends: Once we got home from registering, your daddy started making pizza dough for dinner. I was munching on chips and salsa when we got the call from Shaun and Amelia asking us to go to dinner. Of course we said yes, and I'm so glad we did even though I was soooo tired! Your daddy showed them our latest sonogram picture of you, and Amelia was so excited that she started crying right there at the table! She knows how much we've wanted you, and how long we've waited for you to come along. She can't wait for your arrival. In fact, she was already talking about making you tiny baby clothes! It was a great dinner.

Home: Even though I feel a lot better physically (no more morning sickness, no cramps), I've realized I'm still a lazy bum. I get random spurts of energy where I do a million things around the house and get a lot done, and then there are times when it's a huge effort to walk to the kitchen and find something to eat. I was kind of in lazy bum mode when I took this picture of your daddy folding laundry. (Isn't he adorable being so domestic??) I told him that this is proof he CAN fold laundry, so there's no getting out of it in the future!!

No work tomorrow because of a mini spring break, so I'll write to you again then!
Love you,
Mommy

March 14

Hi little one,
So glad it's Friday! It was a long week at work, and I'm really, really happy we have next Monday off for a short spring break.

Arms and feet, and a sweet little heartbeat: Yesterday I made an appointment for a sonogram. I was just feeling "too good" and I got nervous because I haven't really felt pregnant with you this week! I got myself worked up reading horror stories about other moms, and when listening to your heartbeat on my new fetal doppler didn't even put my mind at ease, I panicked and called the doctor. She was SO KIND and arranged for a sonogram today after work. And I got to see the most perfect picture of your little tiny arms and little tiny legs! You are so perfect! Your little heart is just beating away, and you're only the size of a green olive! Here is how sweet you are at 9 weeks and 2 days.

Wedding: I'm starting to get a little bit stressed out planning our wedding. I know that it's going to be a special day for your daddy and me, but I feel like sometimes we just can't do right by anyone. Who gets invited, who doesn't, what favors we're going to have, if my flowers and dress are good enough. It's hard because I want to make this perfect for your daddy, and I'm know he'll be happy with whatever....but. I don't know. Maybe I'm just really hormonal and I'll calm down in a few days. It'll be fine. It has to be. :)

I love you, little olive!

March 13

Hi little one,
The last few days have been very...interesting, for lack of a better word! Here's a quick recap:

Poor dogs: Two nights ago, your daddy let the dogs outside, and then fell asleep on the couch. (Remember when I was watching The Real Housewives, and he was downstairs watching The Big Bang Theory?) Since I was upstairs, I didn't realize they were outside until about 9:30pm. And of course the one night that they're left outside there's a torrential downpour! Poor Rusty and Dolce were soaking wet when I went downstairs to let them in!! Dolce looked like she had gone swimming. Here she is, with spiky wet hair....poor Dolce!

Anniversary: Yesterday your daddy and I celebrated our two year anniversary! We decided to save the 'big' celebration and go to Opening Day on April 4th instead of doing anything really extravagant. (You probably know that we're not really 'fancy' people by now, and would definitely prefer a Royals baseball game over just about anything else!)  I'm SUPER excited for the upcoming game, and I know you'll grow up to love baseball as much as we do. I did go buy two pieces of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, and daddy took us out to eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant, Chapala, for some dinner. Here is a picture of our cheesecake when we got done stuffing our faces.

Exhausted: When we got home from dinner last night, around 6:45pm, we both crawled into bed. I was planning on staying awake and watching more Real Housewives, but once I put on my pajamas and got warm under the covers, total tiredness hit me like a ton of bricks! By 7:30pm I was sound asleep. Your daddy must have been really tired from going to the gym in the morning, because he fell asleep before I did! Not much going on in the Groesbeck/Whalen house last night, but man, it was awesome to get some good rest!

Dreams: While I was having some of that amazing sleep last night, I also had some of the weirdest dreams in my life. I don't want to say too much because they were really, really embarrassing, but let me just tell you that I'll never look at Justin Bieber the same way again. :(

That's all for today! We are going to go by your Aunt Sally's tonight to drop off her birthday present. She's really, really excited for you to come along! And just think... next year you'll be able to deliver her birthday present yourself :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AUNT SALLY!

I love you little baby,
Mommy

March 11

Hi little one,
It's stormy outside! I swear that when I was driving home that it was 80 degrees, and now it's like, 40 and raining. Kansas weather is so weird!

Energy: We had a pretty good day. I had a lot more energy than normal and at first, I'll admit that it made me nervous. I've read horror stories that when pregnant women get sudden surges of energy or feel radically better for no apparent reason, it can be bad news for the baby. I had to keep telling myself over and over that I'm just paranoid and that an increase in energy around nine weeks isn't uncommon or cause for concern. I've never been this crazy with worry before! I promise I'll have it under control and that I won't be a crazy mommy by the time you can read this!!

Okay, maybe I can't promise that entirely, but I'm really, really going to try to chill out, starting now!

Foooooood: I'm not sure if nine weeks is too early for cravings yet or not, but I wanted a LOT of fruit today. Apples, strawberries, and a bunch of low-fat juices. And it was all so good! Then I went and ruined everything with a big fat hamburger and twice baked potato at dinner. (Also very delicious.)

That's all for tonight, little baby. The new season of The Real Housewives of New York is premiering later, so I have a big night planned in front of the tv catching up on last year's episodes. Daddy thinks it's mindless chatter, but that's fine. He's watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory in the living room. Not much better, I say!!!!!!

I love you,
Mommy

March 10

Hi little one,
What a day. I know we lost an hour due to Daylight Savings Time, but I didn't expect to feel it as much as I do! That one hour has made all the difference between your mommy being an emotional wreck to being a fairly sane, functioning woman.

When I got home today I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned! I probably cleaned more after I got home today than I have collectively in the last nine weeks!! Your daddy was very shocked when he stopped by before his class. (He kissed the baby bump goodbye!! He always swore up and down that he would never like the bump, but he totally does. He loves to kiss your tiny bump!)

Your daddy was really shocked when he realized I'd ordered Papa John's pizza for dinner...and then even MORE shocked when he realized I accidentally ordered it with anchovies! I swear I looked at my order twice before placing it online, then again when I got the email confirmation. This pregnancy brain, I tell you...it'll be the death of me! Needless to say I felt like an idiot once I bit into the pizza and realized what I'd done. So much for spontaneous pizza night!

I'm going to go crush some candies and then head to bed early. Quite the day...quite the day.

I love you, tiny baby G!

March 9

Hi little one,
We had quite the busy day! We dropped off a bunch of stuff at Goodwill, went to Lowe's so that daddy could buy spackle to repair a hole in the kitchen wall, and then we went over to your Uncle Eli and Aunt Sally's house and got to hang out with Griffin! It was good catching up with them and hearing about your little cousin who is on his/her way.

After that, we got my car washed because it was so dirty that you'd never know it's white, and then feasted on tacos and chips. That brings us to about now, and I'm in bed as tired as can be.

Maybe, in retrospect, it wasn't the busiest day, but it sure feels like it!! I'm going to get some sleep since I have a busy week at work coming up. Your daddy has been working hard on a presentation for his master's class tomorrow night, so he's got a busy week ahead too!

Happy Daylight Savings, little one!
Love,
Mommy

March 8

Hi little one,
It's been a busy couple of days! Well....maybe busy isn't the right word. I'm still sleeping a lot and not getting much done around the house, but a lot has happened emotionally. Here's the rundown!

Family: Your daddy emailed your aunts and uncles to tell them about you. We got very sweet emails from Uncle Scott and Aunt Sally that they're excited to meet you in October. Have I told you how many people are anticipating your arrival?? You're only the size of a raspberry and you have so many admirers!

House: You'd be very proud of your daddy! He's hard at work painting the doors on the main floor. They're a very nice black color, and they have a great contrast against the white trim and beige walls. I'll post a picture of them tomorrow when he's done. He's also been really patient with me as I do nothing but sleep and eat. This hasn't been easy, but he knows you're worth it. In fact, he even offered to cook dinner once a week! I'm sure I don't need to tell you what a big deal that is! (Not saying the dinners would be any good, but that's something we can work on!)

Food: Speaking of food...I can officially tell you that I have "baby brain." I was making a chocolate cake the other day and added an extra 3/4 cup of water, and an extra cup of oil! It was like my brain just wouldn't understand the directions. But the cake turned out fine, or at least, your daddy says so. :) let's hope stuff like that doesn't start happening at work, or my students might start to wonder what's going on!

Fun: We went to our first happy hour with daddy's CCP co-workers last night, at a place called Flying Saucer Draught Imporium at P&L. Our secret was up the minute they watched me drink water and devour a basket of fries in 2.5 seconds flat! Then we got a bunch of congratulations all night from your daddy's friends! :) They are very intelligent, good people, and I'm glad your daddy works with them. Even though I was dog tired by the time we made it back home, I'm excited to see them at the next HH.

Movies: I cried watching Legally Blonde on tv tonight. Twice! So embarrassing!  Your daddy said he'd never let me live it down. :(  Hopefully I'll be able to look back at it someday and laugh at myself for being so hormonal. Isn't that silly?!!!!

That's all for tonight, little baby. We may go see your Uncle Eli and Aunt Sally and Cousin Griffin tomorrow if we have the chance. They're busy doing stuff for their new beautiful house, but we miss hanging out with them.

I love you!
Mommy

March 4

Hi little one,
It was a big day! I had the worst dreams last night that we lost you. I woke up almost every hour just drenched in sweat. Then all morning I just felt...off. I can't really explain it. So I called the doctor and they fit me in at 3:45pm. I spoke with a nurse about how I was feeling and she reassured me that everything is fine for being only about 8 weeks, and then she asked me if I wanted to see you for peace of mind.

Of course I said yes! So she snuck me into the ultrasound room and gave me a peek at you. I almost cried!! I got to see your little heart just flickering away on the monitor. You're measuring exactly where you should be for 7 weeks and 6 days, and you have a healthy heartbeat of 161. I'll rest better tonight knowing that you're safe, and that you just have a paranoid mommy :)

Here you are!

I love you little one,
Mommy

March 3

Hi little one,
Today was another very blah day.  I literally slept for about 15 hours! The only things that got done around the house were in the kitchen...I unloaded the dishwasher and made dinner. Yes--you read that right. I managed to get out of bed and do only those two things all day! And I ate a lot of snacks. S'mores Pop Tarts and Lucky Charms cereal sounded soooo good!

I know this is normal for being 7-1/2 weeks pregnant, but wow. I'm more of a "make lists and get stuff done" type of person, not a "be lazy around the house and not even have enough energy to shower" type. I don't know how women do this when they have full time jobs AND other kids to take care of! It exhausts me just thinking about it.

But I'm not complaining! I promise. I'd do this every day for the rest of my life if it meant you grow up happy and healthy :)

Here's a picture I took earlier of your pups. Your daddy got mad that they were on the couch snuggling with me while I napped, but I think the look on Rusty's face makes it all worth it!!

Love,
Mommy

March 2

Hi little one,
It's been quite the day! I've been sleeping off and on (sooo tired!) And eating. That's it! Eating and sleeping are pretty much my life lately --and trying to keep up with your daddy and the pets. Here's a picture of daddy playing with Dolce while the door he's painting dries. She's going to make a GREAT big sister for you!

And here's a picture of your daddy with Meagram. She never comes to cuddle on the couch with us, so this is a rare moment! She likes to growl and grumble, and HATES to be picked up. As you can tell by the look on her face, she's not very excited to be a big sister. Yet.

We finally got to FaceTime with your grandma Gigi and Papa G. Like I said a few days ago, they're SO excited for your October arrival!!! And for you to meet your cousins Evan and Griffin and the other baby G who is due in August. I hope you grow to love your family as much as your daddy and I do :)

We are going to go upstairs and head for bed. There's no school tomorrow because of the ice and snow, so hopefully we'll have a productive day around the house. Daddy is hinting that the laundry won't fold itself, but we'll see. Stranger things have happened, right?

Love you, little baby!

March 1

Hi little one,
We are home safe and sound! The conference was great,  but it's good to be home with the pets. I missed all of them a lot (especially my cuddle buddy Disco...don't tell Meagram). The bad weather started rolling in right about the time we pulled into the driveway, so we couldn't have had better timing. They're projecting another five to nine inches of snow, and I doubt I'll have school on Monday. Not sure what I'll do when I have to go to work for a full week!!

We took a much safer route home through Sedalia, and your daddy took a picture of this street sign. He was giggling for a good minute before I realized why. He's a dork sometimes!

Well, we are going to munch on a candy apple that we got at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory before we left the conference. Happy Saturday, and happy 7 weeks and 2 days!

Love,
Mommy
